as some of you may already know, and I will go Giusy - July 15 to 30 the next - in Haiti as a volunteer.
the idea came to us as a result of an initiative promoted joint venture from my company (Edipower SpA, the second producer of electricity in Italy after ENEL) and ANPIL (Friends In Lasallian International Promotion), in collaboration with the Edison Group.
the company has offered the possibility to its employees and their family to go to "help out" at the "multipurpose center" that has created a few years ago ANPIL Port de Paix in northern Haiti, where he is hosting and, after the earthquake, in addition to those normally assisted over 100 children from 3 to 12 years.
Edipower works financially, in a decisive manner, to shoulder "in toto" the costs of travel and accommodation of voluntary (employee and family) and giving their employees a special paid leave!
So, if you also want to help - or receive money or collection of material, as attached to that part of the public - let me know: I will be happy to recommend the most appropriate.
Know also that the initiative, which will start on 15th June, the departure of the first group of volunteers, will last well beyond the beginning of 2011, many were the cheapest available!
